Henrik Syse, Ph.D.
Henrik Syse will share his perspective on core challenges in present-day business ethics, the thorny relationship between academia and the world of politics, and the need for interdisciplinary academic work.
Syse is Research Professor at the Peace Research Institute Oslo, Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at Björknes University College, and a member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which awards the Nobel Peace Prize. He is a philosopher, author, editor, lecturer, and radio and media personality in his home country of Norway, working in several fields, including political theory, the philosophy of religion, the ethics of war and business ethics.
