The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice will host its annual Immigration Symposium, focusing on the practical aspects of immigration law and the current policy debates surrounding the field.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear a variety of notable immigration attorneys, scholars, and leaders speak on current issues within the field of immigration law in the United States.
This CLE event is pending approval by the State Bar of Texas for 6.5 CLE credit hours (including 1 hour of ethics).
Immigration Courts and Immigration Judges
The Honorable A. Ashley Tabaddor, President of the National Association of Immigration Judges, will address the complex issues surrounding the immigration courts system, the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Department of Justice, including the ethical issues arising from courtroom independence.
