The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice will host its annual Immigration Symposium, focusing on the practical aspects of immigration law and the current policy debates surrounding the field.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear a variety of notable immigration attorneys, scholars, and leaders speak on current issues within the field of immigration law in the United States.
This CLE event is pending approval by the State Bar of Texas for 6.5 CLE credit hours (including 1 hour of ethics).

**Consular Processing Hot Topics.
Marisol Pérez, Board Certified Immigration Attorney and Partner at De Mott, McChesney, Curtright & Armendáriz will address possible issues in consular processing and provide tips to practitioners representing clients needing to depart the United States to adjust status, including FOIA Requests, Form 601A Unlawful Presence Waivers, the ethical needs for legal expertise in this area, and issues that arise when working with USCIS and the Department of State.
